Hi there! I'm Alexis, the owner of Stavia Sweet Treats! I'm best known for my specialty cakes and paleo items! Here at Stavia Sweet Treats I offer a mix of desserts-some are made with wheat and sugar, while others are gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free. So most likely there's a yummy treat just for you! We focus on organic and simple ingredients and make everything in a peanut-free facility. Our fruit frosting is made using real freeze-dried fruits to flavor the frosting. If it's a bright fruit like raspberries, it naturally colors the frosting too! It's a win-win! No fake flavors, no dyes! Here's a bit about me and a glimpse of my baking journey: I've grown up baking in the kitchen with my mom since I was about 2 years old! I started baking chocolate chip cookies all by myself when I was about 4. In 2019, I was in the kitchen ALL the time and loved making cakes. Through the years people told me I should start selling my treats, so in 2020 I started a baking business from my home and made lots of cakes, cupcakes, and cookie orders. It also included wedding cakes and baby shower/gender reveal cakes. Through my baking journey I started to love learning and researching about health and food. I started making food swaps in my own life, like avoiding inflammatory oils, dyes, sugars, fake sweeteners, and more. For a while I actually had a healthy food swap channel, sharing about all the ingredients that are not natural and should be avoided. And that's the short version of how I got into baking refined sugar-free and paleo items. However, after a while of baking just paleo treats, I realized you can have a good balance of sweets made with pure cane sugar and sweets made with dates and honey. I'm excited to be baking up some sweet treats for you! Hope to see you at the market!
